Soof Designs was awarded a 2005 Small Business Award along with a handful of businesses based in Upper Manhattan at a glittering ceremony at New York's famed Compass Restaurant. The Awards were jointly organized by Manhattan Media, publishers of the West Side Spirit and the East Side Our Town publications and Commerce Bank. Tim Zagat, legendary gourmand and founder of the world-famous Zagat guides, conferred the award to Soof Designs founder Omar Rahim, who was joined by Soof team members Teresa Almeida and Veronika Doljenkova.
