This stylized and elongated paisley design recalls that spectacular woven shawls of Kashmir in the 17th and 18th centuries. During the Dogra period, the Kashmiri paisley motif became slender and long. This pure silk fabric in subtle lavenders and creams has given an already beautiful pattern a new-found subtlety.
